Livestock and Horse Project Skill-a-Thons

This year every 4-Her and FFA youth with a lviestock or horse prject will be able to demonstrate what they have learned with their project.  The Lviestock and Horse skillathons will be held at the Meigs County Fairgrounds.  Exact times will be announced in the judging packets that will be distributed in June.  Members will complete 3 different skill-a-thon stations and their project books will be reviewed at a 4th station.  This is not a pass/fail test, but rather a learning experience.  This will give any youth an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have gained from their animal project.  There will be three divisions - beginner (youth in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade), Intermediate (youth in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade) and senior (youth in the 9th grade and up).
